BBC School Report
For the first time, Corpus Christi Catholic Sports College is taking part in the BBC School Report Project. This gives 11 - 16 year old students in the UK the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience.
Using lesson plans and materials from the BBC website, along with support from BBC staff and partners, students will be developing their journalistic skills to become School Reporters.
In March, Corpus Christi and over 1000 other schools across the country, will be taking part in an annual News Day, simultaneously creating video, audio and text-based news reports, and publishing them on our website, which will also appear on the BBC website.
Our School Reporters will be the voices for our community throughout the 2012-13 academic year. They will be broadcasting stories that matter to you.
You can click on the links below for information and leaflets on the process of School Report. You can also go to our 'Applications' page on the left, to view all the letters of application, from our students involved in the project.
So keep an eye on this page for all our students' work and the stories that are really making the news.
Ready, set, action.
