Art and Photography Blackpool Trip

Last week, 30 pupils from Year 11 ventured off to Blackpool, carrying out photo shoots in preparation for their Art and Photography GCSE exam.  The first stop was The Sea Life Centre, where pupils were mesmerised by the beautiful aquatic flora and fauna. Along with capturing some stunning photographs of them in action, pupils had the opportunity to learn more about the aquatic animals and some pupils even braved petting some.  The group then headed to the sea front. As the rain had stopped, pupils were able to take photographs of the lovely beach landscape and iconic buildings.  It was then onward to the Blackpool Tower and Ballroom.  Pupils were amazed by the elegant architecture and enjoyed watching the ballroom dancers while listening to the Wurlitzer play some traditional Cha Cha Cha and Tango tunes.
