Hallé Orchestra Trip

On Thursday 6th March, 39 pupils went on a trip to The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester to watch a concert performed by The Hallé Orchestra.  This annual series of schools’ concerts, performed in one of the country’s finest concert halls, provided an opportunity for pupils to experience live classical music.  The concert theme was World Book Day and explored music inspired by texts we all know and love.  There was a large screen showing live-stream footage, enabling the whole audience to see the instruments of the orchestra more easily.  The pupils behaved exceptionally and were a credit to the school.
