The United Kingdom Maths Trust (UKMT) run nationwide mathematics competitions to encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. On Thursday 1st May, Year 7 and 8 took part in the Intermediate Maths Challenge.
All pupils were awarded with participation certificates. The following Year 7 pupils gained bronze certificates: Sahana, Heidi, Elizabeth, Josh, Mariyah, Joanna, Vihaan, Ollie, Merleah, Zoya and Zeenat. The following Year 8 pupils also gained bronze certificates: JJ, Aidan, David, Khadijah, Jenson, Hamza, Frankie, James, Sophia, Zakariyya, Sophie, Mohammed, Mason, William, Jack, Amaan, Daniel, Ameerah, Xristos.
