The Feast of Corpus Christi

On Wednesday, we celebrated our school feast of Corpus Christi. Fr Stuart Chapple came to lead a Eucharistic Procession to bless the whole school site and each member of staff and pupil. The choir sang songs of praise and adoration as Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament was processed around the site, with pupils serving through carrying lanterns, opening doors and ringing bells. The celebration continued through lunchtimes as everyone received a free ice cream. After school, we concluded the day with a celebration of the Mass from the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, with pupils proclaiming the Word, Altar Serving and singing.
