During the summer term, our Year 9 and Year 10 Art pupils have been working on an exciting collaborative project: painting the St Clare’s library bus at one of our feeder primary schools. Tasked with the theme of childhood stories and the love of reading, the pupils set out to transform the bus into an inviting space designed to encourage younger children to explore and enjoy reading.
Embracing the brief with enthusiasm and creativity, our pupils brought beloved storybook characters to life through vibrant and imaginative artwork. Fortunately, the weather remained in our favour, allowing the pupils to fully immerse themselves in the project outdoors.
This has been a wonderful opportunity for the pupils to showcase their artistic talents, engage in a meaningful team effort, and contribute to a lasting piece of community art. A great deal of time and effort went into the project, and the pupils should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved.
