For the third consecutive year at Corpus Christi, our pupils have achieved the best GCSE results on record. The progress made from their starting points in Year 7 has been exceptional.
Deputy Head Boy, Krish Charan Amaresan, achieved nine grade 9s and will go on to study A level further mathematics, chemistry and physics at Newman College. Krish said ‘I am extremely delighted with my results and I am grateful for all the support received from my teachers throughout my journey at Corpus Christi.’
Humaira Hussain achieved five grade 9s and will study mathematics, chemistry and biology at Newman College. Humaira was very happy with her results and said ‘All the hard work has been worth it. I would like to thank all of my teachers and I am looking forward to starting college!’
Headteacher, Mr Hankin, said: ‘Our pupils have achieved this as a result of their impeccable behaviour, strong attendance and excellent attitudes to learning. They have been supported exceptionally well throughout their time with us by both their highly skilled and committed staff, and their parents and carers.’
