Buddy the therapy dog
On Thursday this week, pupils were delighted to welcome therapy dog, Buddy, into school. Buddy, a Cavapoo, was in school for a day’s trial and based with the SEN department in Bosco House. Buddy belongs to our SENCO, Miss Bell, so we were already aware of his gentle temperament and the patience he would have with our pupils. Dogs like Buddy are commonly used in schools and are known to help pupils by boosting confidence and encouraging relationship-building.
