Pupils in Year 9, who are currently working towards their bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, participated in a practice expedition on Friday 12 May and Saturday 13 May at The Gathering Fields in Scorton. This involved completing two journeys where they were required to navigate their way along a planned route, cooking a hot meal outdoors, camping overnight and learning the code of the countryside. The pupils involved thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the supervising staff members were exceptionally proud of their resilience and willingness to learn. Well done.
