Ghana Twinning Project

On Wednesday, we were visited by Mr David Taylor – or as he is known in Ghana, Nana Dede Taylor – who came to meet a number of pupils from all year groups who had chosen to be part of a pen pal twinning project with a school in Oframese, Kwahu East, Ghana. The pupils learned about Mr Taylor’s role and about how different life was for their counterparts in Africa. They were able to view authentic artefacts and look at how a school in Cork, Ireland is also part of this collaboration. We handed over a collection of over 40 letters to send to Ghana, and we look forward to working further on this project in the new school year.
