On Monday 7 February, 47 pupils from year 8 and five staff set off on their journey to The Outward Bounds Trust Education Centre in Aberdovey, Wales for a week of adventures and activities.
The events during the week were aimed at developing their personal life skills of organisation, resilience, teamwork and overcoming challenges. Pupils were continually tested and pushed to their limits, taking part in midnight gorge walking, mountain climbing, scrambling, abseiling, jetty jumping, canoeing, problem-solving, campfire building, outdoor cooking, beach exploring and raft building.
Pupils showed great resilience and developed incredibly well throughout the week, showing perseverance, humility and kindness to one another as they completed activities.
