Thirty year 10 pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit to The Queen’s College, Oxford University, gaining a real insight into life at a world-leading university. The day included an engaging discussion on university life, finance, and degree choices, followed by a formal lunch in the historic Main Hall and a student-led tour filled with personal perspectives and which celebrities had also studied at the college. Pupils also attended taster lectures in Medical Sciences and History, sparking lively debate, and took in Oxford’s iconic sights such as the Bodleian Library, Sheldonian Theatre, and Bridge of Sighs in the sunshine. Throughout, they were outstanding ambassadors for the school, impressing everyone they met—it was a memorable day that made the “dreaming spires” feel truly within reach.
