This week on Wednesday we had the pleasure of welcoming 30 Year 6 pupils from St Maria Goretti’s to join us and participate in our very popular Primary School ‘Taster Days’.
During the next two weeks pupils from St Clare’s, Blessed Sacrament, St Gregory’s, English Martyrs and Brockholes Wood will also join us to provide a day that gives all our associated primary pupils a taste of high school. An action packed programme that will include science, foreign language, religious education and drama subject activities for learning, enrichment and fun will be timetabled.
Pupils will initially receive a warm ‘Welcome’, in our school hal,l from Headteacher Mr Hankin, Assistant Headteacher Mr Warham, together with Joe and Ruth our school chaplains.
Our guest pupils will also be able to take a break and have lunch in our school restaurant Il Cenacolo, spend time visiting our garden area, but importantly the day will provide an opportunity for any prospective future pupils an ideal chance to get a sense of what is so special about our school.
