Year 11 pupils enjoyed a fantastic evening on Thursday 18 June as they celebrated their prom at Barton Manor. Excitement filled the air as pupils arrived in an impressive range of vehicles, including Bentleys, Mustangs, a vintage Land Rover, a Porsche, a Rolls‑Royce and even a stretched limousine. Families and friends gathered to watch pupils arrive in style and capture the special moment.
Pupils looked stunning in their glamorous dresses and smart suits, taking time to pose for photographs before heading inside for their drinks reception. They were then seated for their meal, where Miss Mayo, Head of Year, and Mr Hankin addressed the year group reflecting on their time at Corpus Christi Catholic High School and wishing them well for the future.
Entertainment continued throughout the evening, with pupils enjoying a performance from a magician before the celebrations truly began. The dancefloor was full all evening as pupils and staff celebrated together, marking the end of an important chapter in their school journey.
Another highlight of the evening was the crowning of Evie and Reece as Prom King and Queen, following votes cast by their peers.
It was a wonderful night for Year 11, filled with laughter, music and memories that will last a lifetime.
We look forward to welcoming pupils back on Thursday 20 August for GCSE Results Day.
